and doesn't cater for the package holiday industry at all. It's
popular with and suitable for couples, families and golfers alike

visitors come here to enjoy some of the best beaches and sunshine
in Spain. In fact, there are over 24 beaches to enjoy from small
coves to one over 20 kilometres long! Several beaches hold the
prestigious Blue Flag award for cleanliness and most of them have
fresh water showers and lifeguards
Torrevieja offers something
for every taste. Peace and tranquillity through to a fabulous
variety of restaurants and bars, some of the best ice cream in
Europe and a few night clubs. It is home to some fantastic golf
courses and is where one of the biggest street markets in Spain
is to be found
Reknowned for its Orange and
Lemon groves, fruit and vegetable farms, the food is always fresh
and very cheap. Eating out is both an experience and a pleasant
surprise when the bill eventually arrives

break or prefer to explore, the area has something for you. If
your ideal holiday is relaxing on the beach by day and spending
the evenings people watching you can. Alternatively perhaps you'd
prefer to explore unspoiled villages or visit historic towns?

tennis or horse riding, perhaps even go kart racing?
Every night pavement artists
and craft stalls can be found on the promenade by the fun fair

in the area and some fantastic shops if you need a little 'retail
therapy'
